A lovely hardy species fromSwitzerland and Austria and parts of Northern Asia. It is evergreen and grows about 5-10cm tall and spreads slowly, best in shady, sheltered spots where it will produce a carpet of moss-like foliage. Colour of foliage depends on factors such as humidity and temperature but is usually a fresh green in shade and high humidity. With more sunlight and exposure they can become bronze.
Great for containers, even as a ground cover for bonsai!
