Deciduous, height to 40cm.
A tough, robust plant for shade with green foliage spotted with silver and pink-blue flowers in the spring. Noted for its very long flowering period, about 10 weeks. Copes well under deciduous trees and shrubs, spreading to make an effective ground cover. It is prone to mildew in dry soils though so add in plenty of compost when planting to help retain moisture.
