A gorgeous Hostal with large, chartreuse-green leaves (with a little sun they are a yellow green), edged with wide creamy-white margins. The leaves are of good substance and corrugated when mature. Light lavender flowers in summer. Best in partial or full shade in moisture retentive soil.
Fabulous as a stand alone plant in a container (plant with spring flowering bulbs for added interest, the hosta leaves will hide the post-flowering foliage of the bulbs), or as a statement plant to illuminate a space.
