An extremely useful deciduous perennial for shade, even dry shade.
It grows about 30cm high, planting distance about 45cm. It spreads to form a mat of aromatic foliage with white flowers in the spring and summer. The foliage thas a reddish tinge in the autumn.
It prefers well drained spots and will happily grow in dry shade once established. It also does well in sunnier spots as long as the soil isn't too dry.
