A fine semi-evergreen fern, will grow to 60cm. Exceptionally hardy and easy to grow with long pinnules. The fine growth is tough and withstands winds well. Also superb for dry shade. Grows in any reasonably drained soil.
It has two types of fronds, Younger plants will have the sterile fronds which are narrow and divided. On more mature plants the fertile fronds develop which are larger and thinner with the sporangia looking quite prominent and very remarkable!
